Make a Wish

Need a few more touches in this Acrylic. Caroline had a fun trip to Disney with her parents John and Amanda. Guess she wished for a baby brother because he is coming in January. We had a fun vist with them all!

Little Girl from Africa

This is not from a pictue I took as I have not been to Africa. But I do support the Lost Girls of Sudan living in Dallas..Dark Exodus through the sale of my African art. I have sold all the others, but have giclees of the graphite  drawing I sold.

Winners!

There were 2 winners...since there were the only 2 who nearly followed the directions. Thanks to all who looked! Still working on marketing. Loved seeing where all the people came from. Louisville, Ky to Jacksonville, Tx (the winners Wendie and Andrea) to Russia...and all over. Reconnected with friends from all over and connected with Florida summer Evacuees. They don't realize how great is here without all the snowbirds. Restaurants and Roads are ours! Texas and midwest friends it is really cool and it rains here...wish I could send some. Do, Do, Do, Looking Out my Backdoor CCR

This is a pastel of the pool and Alligator Lake...Looking out my backdoor. No alligators, but ducks, egrets, an eagle and other wildlife. No I did not "just get back from Illinois" But thanks to CCR for the title. I could do a painting of your backyard or a house portrait. Let me know soon if you need it for Christmas.

Crooked Creek Ranch

This is a view of the barn from the house at Crooked Creek Ranch in Steelville, Missouri. We had lots of good times with Helen and Oscar and the kids there. Can you tell which cow is One Eye that we ate?

Colorado Mountain Stream

This is a mountain stream done in Pastel. I brighten it up a bit after I did the small painting I posted earlier. It hung in my house in Texas...but is now for sale.

First Look

I took a photo of this cute family that seemed to be taking their daughter for a first look at the Gulf from our beach bridge at North Lake Drive. It is a pastel.

Rum Point Cayman Islands

New Shell Paintings

These are shells, done in pastel from photos I took. They are on black LaCarte paper.

I sold the "Little African Girl" last night...but have had some great giclees (prints) made. Some of the proceeds from the African art go to Dark Exodus Women's Foundation for the Lost Girls of Sudan living in Dallas.

This is "South of North Lake". Pastel. The beaches and water are beautiful here. We are a block away from this beach.

This is a palm I can see out the window of my home studio over the garage. The coconuts must be removed before hurricane season. I have several I need to have cracked open. Hopefully no hurricanes!

New Art

This is Little House at the Botanical Gardens. (Pastel) I was painted plein aire at a get together with the South West Florida Pastel Society. It is really a little house in the Children's area. The Botanical Gardens in Naples is a must see if you are in the area.

New Ventures

Where have I been since October?? In November we moved to Naples. In March of this year (2011) I set up a studio/gallery in Naples. This is my new business card. I now have a place to go and create and sell...Yes, Sell! People actually buy art in Naples! I will be posting some of my new art...for you to see and Yes, Buy. Eventually, I hope to set up a web site with PayPal and the ability to provide prints and framing. The Shirley Street 16+ is a great group of artists of all kinds. We have monthly events...the 3rd Sat and Sun of the month from 11-4 with refreshments. Otherwise, you can make an appointment or possibly catch me working.
