Low Water Bridge
This 9x12 pastel done from a photo I took at Horeshoe Bay (Marble Falls) The view is from a low water bridge and looks over at a golf hole. I look forward to going down again the end of October.
Ike Evacuee
I did this 6x8 pastel of a white heron as Hurricane Ike came through. Our lights flickered once, but after a lot of prep it was a non event. We usually have a white heron or a large blue (We call Guneybird) on our top deck rail every morning. What a beautiful sight. He is not really an evauee, but a regular visitor.

This is a house portrait of our house. Notice Jake our Border Collie in the driveway and John's Cessna 182 in the sky and our pontoon boat in the distance. This was done in acrylic on 8X10 canvas. I can paint a portrait of your house, too, or they make great gifts. They can also be scanned to make notecards.
Loved celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary last summer 2007 driving the coast of California as we did on our honeymoon. We saw old friends from Denver and visited Kristina, Joey, and Anna in Half Moon Bay. This is an 8x10 acrylic on canvas. My first attempt withAtelier Interactive Acrylics. I also played with enhansing the color.

New Art
I plan to get some new art posted. Where has spring and summer gone? It was great to have all the family here this summer. It was also great to go to Michigan to cool off. We enjoyed the wedding and seeing friends.
